Project overview

The family of Mr. Julius approached Toshworld while preparing for their father's final burial ceremony. They needed a coordinated set of branded and printed materials that would respectfully reflect the occasion while maintaining a consistent visual identity throughout the different activities of the ceremony.

Toshworld handled the project from creative direction and design through proofing, production, finishing, packaging and final delivery.

The requirement

The family required a complete print and branding package for the burial ceremony, including the main funeral programme, Christian wake-keep programme, branded souvenirs and banners.

Because the different materials would be used at various stages of the ceremony, they needed to feel connected visually while still serving their individual purposes.

The project also had to move from concept to completed production within a limited timeframe ahead of the scheduled ceremony.

Our approach

  1. 01

    Creative direction & preparation

We reviewed the family's requirements, the information and photographs supplied for the ceremony, and established a unified visual direction that could be carried across all four deliverables.

  2. 02

    Design & proofing

The programmes, souvenirs and banners were designed as part of one coordinated identity. Digital proofs were presented to the family for review, corrections and approval before anything moved into final production.

  3. 03

    Production, finishing & delivery

Following approval, Toshworld coordinated the printing and production of the funeral programme, Christian wake-keep programme, souvenirs and banners. Each item was finished, checked and packaged before the completed materials were prepared for delivery within the required timeframe.

The result

The family received a coordinated collection of professionally designed and produced materials ready for the different stages of their father's final burial ceremony.

Rather than managing separate designers and printers for each requirement, the project was handled through Toshworld as one complete process — from the initial brief and creative direction to production, finishing, packaging and delivery.
